Easter Weekend '08

I know it's a little late, but I just had to post some pictures of the kids from Easter. The Friday before Easter Noah stayed the night at Aunt Arn's house (and kept her and Matich up until midnight) so that early Saturday morn they could head right over to the Cancer Wellness House for the Easter egg hunt. We met up with them over there a little while later and Chris took Noah around to find some eggs. Noah hit the jackpot, he went over to an unknown spot and snagged tons of eggs. We left with so much candy (most of it went in the trash as soon as we got home!) and Noah was exhausted. But it was tons of fun, I can't wait for next year when Bostyn can go on an easter egg hunt too!

On Easter Sunday Noah woke up and went straight into the living room while Chris and I were still in bed. Luckily he didn't start opening anything, he came into our bedroom and made us get out of bed. Chris carried him into the living room and the second Noah saw his new skateboard, he wriggled his way out of Chris's arms to get down (Chris almost dropped Noah) and he ran to his basket & grabbed his skateboard. That thing literally went with him EVERYWHERE for the rest of the day. He was so excited to have it and he's been trying to learn how to skate around the house. We hope to take him to a skate park soon so he can watch and learn. After we opened presents we took him to IHOP for some Who-Cakes (Noahs' favorite breakfast right now). Then Aunt Arn and Uncle Matti came over with presents, one of them being a 2nd skateboard! One to keep here and one to keep at Oma's. He hit the payload! Bostyn made out pretty good too, she loves her Winnie the Pooh bowl and her cute new headbands. For Easter dinner we went up to Chris's dad's house in Syracuse and hung out with the rest of the family and Noah learned how to play pool. Well, kind of, every time a ball went in the pocket, he would immediately take it out and try hitting it again. He'll get it eventually! It was a super fun weekend and wore us out like nothing else but we can't wait until Easter next year.

I'm officially a part of the blogging world!

I had no idea that blogging was so HUGE, it seems like everyone I know has a blog nowadays! Well, I'm not one to be left out of the loop so I decided to start one myself. Just kidding, I actually hope that this will be just like an online journal for me and my family. With 2 young children growing up so fast, it's so easy to blink and miss something. Or forget the date (or even month) of a growth milestone. The other day I was asked at the pharmacy what Bostyn's date of birth was and I managed to give the pharmacist Chris's birth month, my birth day and Noah's birth year. So it came out 11/8/05, when really it was 7/25/07. I am hoping that by having this blog I will be able to keep things a little more organized and on track with a record book. I hope everyone enjoys reading about our family!
