Speaking of great days....
Thank you to every one that helped make my Mother's Day a special one. On Thursday before Mother's Day Chris had my favorite flower sent to my work "to make all the girls jealous". It's a beautiful orchid and it was such a sweet thing of Chris to do. Very thoughtful.



The Saturday before, my mom, the kids and I went out to breakfast at IHOP and then to the mall where my mom and Noah bought me Aveda cuticle cream (thanks for destroying my beautiful hands, stupid work gloves). It was really cute of Noah to run up to me, throw the bag at me, and yell "Happy mother's day!" as he's running away from me to play with the soccer ball in Gap Kids. Thanks to Amber and Matich taking Noah and Margie and Wade for taking Bostyn the night before, we got to go out to dinner and Todd's with friends. Then I got the ONLY thing I wanted: to sleep in! I woke up at 11:30 to breakfast in bed with my super sweet husband. I actually had time to sit and eat and Chris said he's never seen me eat so much food in one sitting! (what?! I was hungry!) Then we met up with Amber and Matich to pick up the kids, went to Target for cards, then to the mall where the kids "bought" me flip flops, the other thing I really wanted. Later that night we went to Margie's house for a bbq. Poor Margie got stuck with all the cooking, which was very good, thanks Margie! After dinner I got my first hand-made present from Noah: his hand in a glittery star. Very cute. Can't wait to get more homemade crafts as he gets older!
